Located on the Resort's private beach, one-bedroom Beach Villas offer unobstructed views of the Gulf of Siam and Laem Yai Bay. Enjoy an aquatic workout in the suite-sized private infinity pool, or relax on the deck/living area to admire Samui's spectacular sunset.

• Beach Villas feature a combined outdoor wooden deck and sitting area that is furnished with a daybed, marble dining table with two chairs and two sun lounges. The sitting area has a thatched canopy and can be curtained all around when needed.

• The air-conditioned bedroom, separated from the living area by sliding glass doors, has an 81-centimetre (32-inch) LCD flat-screen television with cable programming, an iPod docking station, an alcove with writing desk, a multi-line telephone with voice mail, and wired and wireless high-speed Internet access.

• Additional amenities include a full stereo system, CD/DVD player, wine cooler, private bar, coffee- and tea-making facilities and in-room safe.

• The full bathroom, featuring two lavish vanities, terrazzo shell-shaped bathtub and separate glass-enclosed shower, has sliding glass doors opening onto a deck with an outdoor rain shower for an al fresco bathing experience.

Nestled on a hillside with panoramic views of the Gulf of Siam and Laem Yai Bay, One-Bedroom Villas offer elegance and comfort. Take a dip in the private infinity pool, or lounge on the deck/living area to enjoy Samui's mesmerizing ocean breezes. For larger families, selected villas can be connected.

• One-Bedroom Villas feature a 42-square-metre (452-square-foot) outdoor wooden deck and living area that is furnished with a daybed, a marble dining table with two chairs and two sun lounges. The living area has a thatched canopy and can be curtained all around when needed.

Lan Tania, meaning blue palm in Thai, is situated on the hillside, offering breathtaking views of the Resort, the ocean and the surrounding islands. Featuring traditional Thai dishes and Italian favourites, most courses are served family style. Guests can choose to dine indoors in air-conditioned comfort, or outdoors where large overhead fans provide a comfortable breeze. Seats 102.

*** Specialties *** The breakfast buffet offers continental, Thai and Asian dishes, while a full American breakfast is available เ la carte. A separate dessert menu features simple yet creative Italian and local favourites.

:: Pla Pla ::

Pla Pla, meaning many fish in Thai, is a casual beach-side restaurant offering delectable seafood and spectacular views of the ocean and Koh Pha Ngan island. Fresh fish are caught daily and prepared according to individual request. Seating for 108 is available on the open terrace or right on the white-sand beach.

*** Specialties *** A comprehensive seafood menu is available for lunch and dinner, in addition to a selection of meat, vegetarian and healthy spa options. During the day, a special pool and beach menu offers guests a choice of light salads and snacks to enjoy as they lounge by the pool or on the beach.

The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui offers a delicate balance of refreshment for mind, body and beauty. Centuries-old healing techniques, summoning the secrets of herbal and holistic remedies, are deeply rooted in Thailand’s rich spa heritage. Further calmed by the gentle sights and sounds of the jungle, guests of the spa can retreat from hectic urban life into the authentic peace of Samui.

Individual treatment rooms are housed in five salas – covered verandas – each with two indoor and two outdoor Thai-style massage beds, an outdoor shower, an outdoor bathtub and a steam room or indoor rain shower. A separate treatment sala is available for facials, waxing and other services, while the salon can provide finishing touches for special occasions. Afterwards, sip a tropical juice and savour the feeling of serenity in the spa's relaxation sala.

To experience the spa's massage services, guests must be at least 18 years of age; for facial services, 16 years; and for the sauna/steam facilities, 14 years.

- Yoga Pavilion - A nearby yoga pavilion is open from sunrise to sunset for guests to practice in private, or to join yoga lessons led by the Resort's resident yogi. Private yoga lessons may also be arranged for a fee.
