The Ramada Resort , Karon Beach Phuket, newly opened in November 2006, will change the concept of family vacations in Thailand and set a new standard for family oriented resorts everywhere. No other resort offers such a comprehensive range of facilities and activities for families with kids and for the young at heart.

The resort has 121 rooms, but some of them, 14 in total, offer a concept that has never been seen in Thai resort hotels. Try for example our "Outer Space room" , PLUS an Underwater Room and Castle Room in the Duplex Suites. Many of our other rooms also have great sea views. The resort is located at one of the most popular and spectacular beaches in Phuket -Karon Beach. It is only a 10 minute drive to Patong - Phukets popular shopping and night entertainment area and 45 minutes to Phuket Town.

In all, the resort comprises 121 rooms and suites many of which offer spectacular sea views of Karon Beach. Apart from modern and contemporary standard and deluxe rooms, the resort also has wonderfully-unique themed rooms which cater to the young and young at heart alike. These include "Underwater" and "Outer Space" rooms as well as duplex Castle theme suites. Junior suites and two-bedroom family suites round out the resorts complement of accommodations.

This 50's style rock 'n roll diner is the resort's flagship restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fun, entertainment and great American-style food are always in store when enjoying a meal at Joe Kools and the décor which includes a 1964 Chevy "parked up the wall" as well as all sorts of memorabilia is a breath of fresh air.

Offering live entertainment nightly as well as frequent "party nights", Joe Kools has indoor seating on two levels and outdoor seating with views of Karon Beach in the distance. Special dining tables are on hand for the little ones, while both kids and adults can enjoy the pool tables and the wall of TV's that circle the restaurant's second floor!

Located in the first and only magic castle on the island of Phuket, the Castle Bar & Grill serves up a storm of grilled items, all day favorites and a selection of great salads and snacks. When the kidz are tugged away in the Kidz club, parents will enjoy this outlet for their daily coffee infusions and news. Internet stations are provide for keeping in touch with the loved ones at home.

Ramada Resort Karon Beach Phuket is ideally suited for small-sized meetings in Phuket.
