The Ramada Resort , Karon Beach Phuket, newly opened in November 2006, will change the concept of family vacations in Thailand and set a new standard for family oriented resorts everywhere. No other resort offers such a comprehensive range of facilities and activities for families with kids and for the young at heart.

The resort has 121 rooms, but some of them, 14 in total, offer a concept that has never been seen in Thai resort hotels. Try for example our "Outer Space room" , PLUS an Underwater Room and Castle Room in the Duplex Suites. Many of our other rooms also have great sea views. The resort is located at one of the most popular and spectacular beaches in Phuket -Karon Beach. It is only a 10 minute drive to Patong – Phuket’s popular shopping and night entertainment area and 45 minutes to Phuket Town.

This 50ties style Rock & Roll diner is the main restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fun, entertainment and great American style food are the main focus of this restaurant. The d�cor is bringing back memories of America in the fifties featuring a 64 Chevy as a main focus point as well as some old American chopper bikes.

Daily life entertainment from an International renowned Band ensures that all patrons will have a great evening long past their dinner. Kids will have their own little table, there they can enjoy the restaurant experience all by themselves or they can choose to dine with their parents.

- Castle Bar & Grill -

Located in the first and only magic castle of this tropical island this restaurant will serve up a storm of grilled items, all day favorites and a selection of great full meal salads and snacks. The castle is located besides the Dino-pool and features also the longest water slide on the island.

Having so many attractions and being closely linked with the Kidz-club this restaurant is not for the faint hearted, since there always will be energetic children close by. Hold on to your hats and enjoy the ride.

- World News Coffee -

An oasis for our adults guests World News Coffee provides besides a menu of coffees, light sandwiches and salads, internet stations and news in all possible variations. A large selection of daily international news papers as well as news channel tuned TVs will give all guests a total overview of the happenings in the world.

When the kidz are tugged away in the Kidz club, parents will enjoy this outlet for their daily coffee infusions and news. Internet stations are provide for keeping in touch with the loved ones at home.

The hotel provides room service for 18 hours per day.

The resort also has a “Mexican Hacienda” design style for both the exterior and guest rooms. Standard and Deluxe rooms all feature bold colours, warm lighting and a comfortable functional design. All the special theme rooms are designed for both little kids and big kids, and with the exception of suites, interconnect to one of our Mexican style rooms. So Mum & Dad can relax in their own space but also know the kids are close at hand in their own private adventure room.

The meeting facilities provide space for up to 60 persons with all necessary audio visual equipment to ensure a successful function.

- Kidz Club -

The Resort also features a huge Kids Club, with a play station game room and lots more, plus an adventure water-slide. Don’t forget the bottom-less ice cream machine providing free ice cream cones to kids all day long.

- Siam Adventure Club - Siam Adventure Club provides an innovative and interactive program for kids and also handles all tour bookings, activity programmes for guests and is the centre for our guests relations team.
