Layana Resort & Spa is an exclusive boutique resort facing a fine white sandy beach and set up against a picturesque backdrop of forested hills. Laid out amid tropical gardens and designed to harmonize perfectly with its natural surroundings, the resort comprises low-rise, contemporary Thai-style buildings that combine spaciousness with an open, cool and natural ambience.

Here the guests have the opportunity to appreciate an idyllic island world far from the pressures of the city.

The resort features 50 luxurious guestrooms and suites, comprising 44 Garden Pavilions, 3 Beach Suites and 3 Ocean Deluxe Suites. All are designed in contemporary Thai style, complete with balconies commanding sea and mountain views, while decor and furnishings are both natural and luxurious, making extensive use of hardwoods, silks and other indigenous materials.

All rooms have either king-size or twin bed with goose-down duvets, as well as a large day bed serving as both as a daytime sitting area and as a third bed at night. Bathrooms are fitted with bathtubs and separate showers, while the suites are additionally provided with open-air garden showers.

Garden Pavilion rooms, offering 49 square metres of living space, are located in 11 two-storey units, each with four guestrooms, nestled within landscaped gardens. Total : 44 Garden Pavilions.

Beach Suites, with 59 square metres, are single-storeyed units perched on the edge of the beach.  Total : 3 units only.

Ocean Deluxe Suite, directly overlooking the beach, cover 88 square metres laid out over two storeys, with an upstairs living room and open-air area commanding 270-degree views. Total : 3 units only.

Tide: This is a formal restaurant serving an a la carte selection of international dishes, as well as Asian fusion and seafood specialties. Menu quality is fully matched by the excellence of the wine list. Guests have the choice of a cool interior venue or an alfresco beachside setting.

Facing the beach, this is the perfect location for cool drinks and evening cocktails.

Available for meetings and parties, the 82-square-metre Conference Room can accommodate up to 60 guests for cocktails, or setting configurations can be for up to 40 people in theatre style, 33 in classroom and 26 in U-shape arrangement. Support equipment includes:

There are aslo opportunities for snorkeling and sea kayaking, while among active options on land are elephant treks and nature hikes. Tours and excursions covering all places of interest, as well as sports activities, can be readily arranged by Layana Resort & Spa.

Secluded within its own walled garden, the resortโ€™s Linger Spa is a sanctuary from stress. Here guests may rediscover their inner harmony through an extensive range of Eastern and Western health and beauty treatments designed to promote physical, mental and emotional well-being. All therapists are fully trained and products used are from natural products. French imported products are used for facials.

The transportation consists of a 20 minutes drive from Krabi airport to Laem Kruat pier followed by a 50/55 minutes scenic ride along the coast of Lanta Island on our private speedboat depending on sea and weather conditions.

Koh Lanta is situated in the southernmost district of Krabi Province, and is perhaps the most idyllic area available where you can still find peace and quiet.

Koh Lanta is actually made of two islands; Koh Lanta Noi and Koh Lanta Yai. Koh Lanta Noi is the smaller of the two islands and doesn't have tourist facilities. Visitors traveling by road from the main land pass through the smaller island on the way to resorts on Koh Lanta Yai.

Lanta Yai Island is approximately 27 km long by 12 km wide with more than 40 km of pristine coastline. The island itself has a wonderful assortment of exciting, unspoiled and exotic locations to visit and offers great white-sand beaches and unforgettable sunsets.

Layana Resort & Spa is located on the west coast of Koh Lanta, on white-sand Phre-Ae Beach (Long Beach).

From November to April, the transportation consists of a 50 minutes drive from Krabi airport to Baan Hua Hin Pier, and then a 20 minutes scenic ride along the coast of Koh Lanta on Layana's private speedboat. From May to October, transfers are organized by land transport only with two ferry crossings.
