Trekking
You can go elephant trekking at two places on the island. Chang
Chutiman operate elephant trekking to the interior of the island
and from Klong Prao.
Baan Kwan Chang offer elephant treks that take place in an inland
valley to the North of the island. To get there turn inland at Klong
Son and proceed about 2 km. |

Transportation to Koh Chang :
By Private Car: For convenience and better road surface, take
the elevated Bangkok-Chonburi Toll way until its final exit or
the Bangkok-Chonburi Motorway and exit for Ban Bung-Klaeng-Chantaburi
By Air :
A new airport at Lam Ngop is currently operated by the privately-owned
Bangkok Airways. Trat is conveniently linked to Bangkok and other
key tourist destinations such as Phuket, Samui, Hua-Hin, etc.
Using their 72-seater ATF aircraft, the flying time from Bangkok
to Trat will be shortened to just 45 minutes. You can expect easy
connections to the pier from there.
By Ferry :
Lam Ngop Pier, the main pier, ferries from this pier depart every
hour. Traveling time is about 30 minutes.
